Throughout a career of amazing scope, Gordon Parks has fearlessly explored poverty, race and crime even as he has enhanced our understanding of nature, childhood, music, fashion and memory. This exhibition features over 200 photographs from Park’s major photo series, 1940 through 1997, color photographs and portraits, combined with his books, films and music.
Half Past Autumn: The Art of Gordon Parks is organized by the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
