On February 18, 2023, we were thrilled to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit at our Lunar New Year Festival with nearly 500 visitors. The celebration included a lion dance, traditional Chinese folk dances by members of the Greenburgh Evergreen Club, a Chinese dulcimer concert with Ariane Kuo, a Tai Chi demonstration, and a small-hand drum dance by the New York Korean Performing Arts Center. Visitors had a blast making Chinese knots, posters, pom-pom bunnies, and cut-paper decorations in our Family Art Workshops, and engaged in calligraphy demonstrations and lessons in origami.
