Afro-Peruvian Ensemble (Amphitheater 2023)

This all-star band brings you the joyful sounds and rhythms of the Peruvian coast with a contemporary treatment that is rooted in tradition. The ensemble’s repertoire includes classics of the Afro-Peruvian folklore rarely seen in the U.S., including festejos, zamacuecas, landos, and contrapuntos de Cajones.

This program is part of the 2023 Summer Amphitheater Series. Doors open at 7:30pm. No reservations required. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Free parking is available. Learn more about the free series here.
