Art in Bloom: Morsemere Garden Club Flower Show

Join Yonkers’ own Morsemere Garden Club for “Art in Bloom,” a National Garden Club (NGC) Small Standard Flower Show. Club members will present design, horticultural, educational, and botanical arts displays inspired by floral works on view in the HRM collection. From petite designs to tea tables for two to wearable floral art, each display adheres to the principles of design and the standards set by NGC, while allowing club members to channel their inner artist. The displays will be judged by accredited NGC judges.

The Morsemere Garden Club was founded in Yonkers in 1929 to stimulate interest in conservation, horticulture, artistic arrangements of plant material, and community service. They organize biennial flower shows to showcase horticulture and floral design, provide members with an outlet for creative expression, and communicate National Garden Club goals to the public.
