Art Project LIVE
Update: This live event is over, but check our Art Projects page for a recording of the demo, coming soon!
Visual artists and writers have always used nature as inspiration for their works. To celebrate spring and National Poetry Month, virtually visit some of the HRM’s beautiful works of landscape art.
Then, practice writing your own haiku, a traditional form of Japanese poetry that focuses on the natural world for its subjects, in an interactive workshop led by Bridget McCormick, Manager of School Programs. All you need is paper and pencil! Recommended for ages 6–18 (Grades 1–12).
Visit our Museum from Home page for more activities, including weekly art projects, and check our calendar for upcoming virtual events.
