Celebrate Lunar New Year with an afternoon of Chinese classical and folk dances and a graceful tai chi demonstration presented by the Greenburgh Evergreen Club. Highlights include:

Yang Guifei
A solo by Dr. Yingli Wen, this Chinese classical dance portrays the beauty, tenderness, and fate of Yang Guifei, one of the Four Great Beauties of ancient China, set in the Tang dynasty.

Spring Outing
Dr. Wen and her students perform this lively folk dance, reflecting the traditional customs of the Hani people in Yunnan, particularly their joy as they welcome spring.

Tai Chi Sword
Dr. Jialing Shi and students showcase a serene and meditative sword technique, blending traditional martial arts with tai chi.

Tuberose
Ike Leong and students perform a fan dance that combines the pace of Latin dance with the grace of the Chinese fan dance, accompanied by the well-known and beautiful tuberose song.
