Conversations Around Constellations: Frances Hynes’ Skyscapes

Tour Frances Hynes: Constellations virtually with the artist Frances Hynes and Marc Taylor, HRM’s Manager of Planetarium and Science Programs. Together, they will take a close look at this collection of charcoal and pastel skyscapes, and then place them in their celestial context with a virtual planetarium show. Hynes will discuss her inspiration for these images and her depiction of the geometries of architecture and the arrangement of the stars. Frances Hynes: Constellations will be on view at the HRM through January 10, 2021.
