Curator Tour: Flowers in Glenview

Take a fresh look at Glenview on a unique tour focusing on the flowers that abound within the historic home, in celebration of Mother’s Day. Laura Vookles, Chair, Curatorial Department, will lead the tour, inviting you to help look for clues to whether the home’s main floral motif is a sunflower or a chrysanthemum. Learn about the mysteries that unfolded as she researched the decorative flowers throughout Glenview and how the Victorians brought nature indoors through the use of integrated floral design. Become a design detective and see if you agree with her conclusions!
