Indonesian Music and Dance

Members of Gamelan Dharma Swara present a program of traditional music for gamelan gendér wayang, one of the most ancient gamelan ensembles existing in Bali. This traditional Indonesian percussion orchestra is often played as musical entertainment and also to accompany Balinese life-cycle rituals. The program will open with a customary Balinese welcoming dance.
