Due to inclement weather, this program has been moved from Thursday, August 8, to Thursday, August 15.

The HRM and the Yonkers Paddling and Rowing Club are partnering to offer kayaking on the Hudson River, inspired by the exhibition Rivers Flow / Artists Connect. Embark with experienced guides from the cove at the JFK Marina, just north of the Museum off Kennedy Boulevard.

What’s included: single and double sit-on-top kayaks, paddles, lifejackets, and experienced guides on the water. What to bring: hat, water shoes or sneakers, sunglasses, towels, and clothes that can get wet. Please note, there are no changing facilities at the JFK Marina.

Head down to the Marina after purchasing general admission at the front desk, where you’ll be given a bracelet for admission to the exclusive kayaking experience for HRM visitors only.

Recommended for ages 6+. No experience is required. Waivers must be signed. The event is first-come, first-served; advance registration is recommended. The program may be cancelled or modified due to weather or water conditions. A rain date is scheduled for Thursday, August 15. If you would like to be notified of any cancellations or modifications, register for the event.
