Outdoor Astronomy Afternoons at the HRM — CANCELLED

This program is cancelled due to inclement weather.

With the Planetarium currently unavailable for in-person shows, we’ve created an in-person, holiday-themed astronomy experience in the HRM Courtyard—with outdoor-only demos that you can’t do in the Planetarium! Follow along on our big screen as a science educator gives you a tour of the winter skies and conducts demonstrations about light and the invisible forces that shape the heavens. When the sky is clear, we’ll take out our solar telescope and take a safe, close-up look at the Sun.

Seating is limited; first-come, first-served, and dress warmly. Masks are required. Bring your questions and get ready to participate! In the event of rain, snow, or extreme cold, this outdoor program will be cancelled.
