Pop-Up Storytime: Railroad to the Moon

Join HRM Junior Docents for a reading of NASA astronaut Ron Garan’s 2021 adventure Railroad to the Moon. Have you ever had a dream that felt real? A dream so real that it changed your life forever? That’s exactly what happened to Alexa, a young girl with great curiosity and a wild imagination. Put on your spacesuit and go on a journey with Alexa that starts in the classroom and ends on the Moon!

Railroad to the Moon aims to inspire children to dream big and never stop being curious about space. It is dedicated to the men and women who made the first Moon landings possible with the hope that we honor their accomplishments and sacrifices by returning to the Moon—this time to stay—for the betterment of all the inhabitants of planet Earth.

Recommended for ages 5+.
