You can preserve your family history! Just in time for Mother’s Day, learn about best practices and methods for scanning, photographing, and preserving your family’s vintage photographs and documents. Go behind the scenes with Digitization Technician Anna Jacobson and Collection Assistant Becca Muffler as they guide you through the HRM’s process of digitizing thousands of objects in the Museum’s archives. Please bring one photograph or document from home to scan, we’ll provide a resource guide with tips for scanning and storage.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
