Seeing Landscape Anew: A Journey with Artist James McElhinney

Expeditionary artist James McElhinney will introduce the philosophical underpinnings of his landscape practice and then take visitors on a tour through his watercolors of the Hudson River, painted in small-format sketchbooks and larger prints, and displayed alongside select nineteenth-century works from the Museum’s collection.
