Woman in the Moon & A Trip to the Moon

Our movie series continues with two pioneering classics of fantasy in film. First, in Georges Melies’ 1902 short, A Trip to the Moon (Le voyage dans la lune), a group of astronomers goes on an expedition to the moon. Then, in Fritz Lang’s 1929 Woman in the Moon (Frau im Mond), a tenacious scientist blasts off for the moon in hopes of finding riches.
