News 12 recently visited the HRM to document the exciting programs and exhibitions happening during School’s Out, Stars Are In (SOSI) over spring break. The segment, which is part of their ongoing Road Trip: Close to Home series explored the many unique experiences the HRM has to offer: from art exhibitions, star shows in the HRM Planetarium, and hands-on art and science workshops.

They interviewed a variety of our staff members, including Jeana Wunderlich, Manager, Marketing and Communications, who introduced the HRM; Laura Vookles, Chair, Curatorial Department, about our collections and special exhibitions; Pedro Betanzos, Manager, Youth and Family Programs, about our Family Studio Art workshops; and Marc Taylor, Manager, Planetarium and Science Programs, who discussed the HRM Planetarium and family science workshops. Finally, Saralinda Lichtblau, Assistant Director, Education, gave viewers a little preview of what to expect during our Summer 2022 Amphitheater Season!
