Jon Graves Joins the HRM as Assistant Director of Development

The Hudson River Museum is pleased to announce that Jon Graves has been appointed as our new Assistant Director of Development. With extensive experience in both nonprofit and commercial sectors, Jon most recently served as Executive Director of The Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, California, where he increased development revenue by 50% over three years, while bringing people together. His background includes leadership roles at The Economist, Bloomberg Media, and Gartner, as well as CEO positions at various conference companies, informing his ability to manage complex projects.

At the HRM, Jon will implement a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy, oversee major gift initiatives including the Fund for HRM, and enhance membership engagement. He will lead the Development Team in managing annual fundraising, strategic grants and partnerships, events, and planned giving. Originally from Devon, England, Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Humanities from the University of Wales. A Westchester resident, he is passionate about museums, art, film, cycling, and the environment.
