Megan Byrnes Joins the HRM as the New Manager of School Programs
The Hudson River Museum is pleased to announce Megan Byrnes as our new Manager of School Programs. Megan comes to the HRM from the Morris-Jumel Mansion Museum, where she was Programs Manager for the past two years. Prior to that, she had been involved in public programming, student and teacher services, and curriculum development at the Tenement Museum, the Public Library and Scott Family Amazeum, the National World War II Museum, and the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of the American Indian.
Megan’s experience as an educator makes her the perfect candidate to welcome students back to the Museum for in-person school visits, as well as lead our Museum Docents as they return for on-site tours. Megan will work closely with the Education team and across departments to create vibrant educational partnerships and interdisciplinary programs for schools and institutional partners in our local communities.
Please join us in welcoming Megan to her new role at the HRM!
