Book a wedding or special event

This large ballroom is ideal for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, social celebrations, and conferences. It features an adjoining River Terrace, with unforgettable views of the Hudson River and the Palisades.

Our spacious museum lobby is ideal for a variety of receptions and dinners. It has direct access to our picturesque courtyard, where guests can enjoy views of our historic home, Glenview, and the Hudson River through our West Wing galleries.

This interior and private courtyard is surrounded by our Gilded Age historic home as well as our Brutalist-style building and new West Wing. With its unique architecture and garden courtyard, the Hudson River Museum makes a memorable wedding portrait and is ideal for receptions, dinners, and ceremonies. Please note, the courtyard location can only be rented in conjunction with the lobby.

Celebrate your special event in the HRM Planetarium! Let us take you and your guests on an exclusive, personal tour through the cosmos. Ideal for wedding ceremonies, proposals, in addition to private screenings of our planetarium shows. We also offer Planetarium birthday parties for ages 4–11 (see here for details).

The Hudson River Museum Amphitheater is a seasonally available, versatile outdoor theater adjacent to the Museum that overlooks the Hudson River and the Palisades. Ideal for performances, graduations, and photoshoots.

Our galleries feature an ever-evolving collection of American art and dynamic exhibitions that range from notable nineteenth-century paintings to contemporary art installations. Please note, the galleries can only be rented in conjunction with another location.

Delight in the six fully restored period rooms of Glenview, whose fine woodwork, furnishings, artwork, and magnificent architectural features rank it as one of the most important early Gilded Age residences open to the public. Glenview’s historic Billiard Room is a unique and elegant space for intimate catered receptions and dinners. Please note, guided tours of Glenview can be booked as an add-on in conjunction with any rental.

Located in our historic home Glenview, the conference room is an ideal setting for your corporate meetings and events, complete with two flat-screen, mounted televisions, modern, comfortable swivel chairs, tabletop HDMI connection, and a credenza for refreshments. Please note, the Lifflander Conference Room is not ADA accessible.

Greene Education Center features two mid-sized classrooms, in addition to our Marjorie Isaac Studio space with arrangeable tables and seating for a variety of event needs. Ideal for lectures, presentations, and workshops.
